Information About Kathy's Prints
All prints are signed and numbered, limited edition prints. They are sold unmatted and unframed. They are shrink-wrapped sitting on a piece of foam core that is just large enough for them to lay on, but not large enough to be used in framing.
Prints are signed and numbered in the white space below the print's image. All the prints have titles in the white space below the image.
Framed prints are also available, but you must call to discuss pricing. Framing costs are determined by the moulding, the type of glass, and the number of mats used. We frame Kathy's prints up to the inked surface of the print. We do not allow the title or any white space around the print to show when we frame Kathy's prints. We believe they look best when framed in this manner.
Kathy's giclée prints are museum quality, archival prints. They are made on specially treated, fine art paper. The inks are specially formulated pigmented inks.
Giclée prints will stand up to age, air, humidity and UV light rays. When framed properly, under glass, they can be passed down from one generation to the next while remaining true to their original color.
The print's colors that you see on your monitor are probably different from what the print's actual colors are. That is because each monitor is different and very few monitors are calibrated and profiled for accurate color rendition.
